Miami, FL – April 2, 2019 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the addition of Plaza Barra First in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This property joins eight Plaza Vacation Club resorts that are currently part of Interval’s exchange network and are located in some of the country’s most popular vacation destinations. Plaza Vacation Club is owned and operated by Plaza Hotéis, one of Brazil’s leading hotel brands.

Plaza Barra First has 174 units set in a mixed-use complex in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood of the West Zone of Rio. The on-site amenities and services include a restaurant, gym, sauna, kids’ club, and outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens. Nearby, owners and guests can play a round of golf at the Olympic Golf Course, shop at Rio Design Barra and Vogue Square Mall, go surfing at Barra da Tijuca or Reserve Beach, or visit the Marapendi Ecological Park and the Eco Lounge that are easily accessible via ferry.
